Outside of school hours care (OOSH)

Our school has an agreement with Active OOSH who runs an off-site outside of school hours care (OOSH) service where our students are bused to and from Kempsey West Public School. This service operates before and after school and also provides care during school holidays and school development days. This is known as vacation care.

Before and after school care

Active OOSH runs our off-site OOSH from Kempsey East Public School at 23 Marsh Street, West Kempsey . Students from our school are bussed by Active OOSH of a morning and afternoon.

Hours

• Monday-Friday, 6:30-9:00 AM and 3:00-6:30 PM (during school term only).

Vacation care

Active OOSH vacation care service is available to all K-6 children and is run from Kempsey West Public School at 23 Marsh Street.

• 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (during school holidays and school development days).

Eligible families can apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to reduce out-of-pocket OOSH fees.
